Today marks two years since Jess joined us here at Cooper Golding. Jess manages and runs the temporary desk and is a great asset to the company. Today, we are also asking the question; ‘is there a such thing as a career for life anymore?’
Do people, nowadays, work for the same company for their whole career and retire after fifty years? Are employees less loyal now than they used to be? Are workers jumping from job to job to climb the career ladder and search for a greater fulfilment?
According to statistics, the average person changes jobs 12 times in their career and spends 4.3 years in each job. Have the days passed where people would stay in one job for their entire career? What do you think the reasons behind this is? We would love to know your opinions.
