Katie - Sales Support
Being in a Sales Support Assistant, no two days are ever the same. My main role is to work closely with the consultants, supporting them in their roles to work more efficiently and effectively. I help them with daily tasks such as formatting CVs, job adverts, resourcing candidates, and other administrative tasks. Alongside working with the consultants, I keep in regular contact with candidates and get to talk to new people every day. There is a huge feeling of satisfaction being able to build relationships with candidates and helping them on their career journey. My job role also allows me to show my creative side, by keeping the social media pages up to date, creating visuals adverts and producing new marketing materials weekly.
Due to the current pandemic, the most challenging part of my role is hearing of so many redundancies and people looking for work, but there not being the work out there to offer them. I do my best to keep in contact with everyone, pointing them in the right direction and updating them with job opportunities when they arise.
There are many things I love about my job, the main one being the people I work with. We have a great work environment and a lovely team. Everyone works well together, works hard and a lot of laughs are had along the way, which makes it a really nice atmosphere to work within. I like the variety of my role as it keeps me on my toes and allows me to be creative and organised. Every day is different and motivates me to push myself to the next level.
